We recently added a second Basys platesetter to our prepress lineup, to better serve the needs of our customers.
In a modern direct-to-plate shop, the platesetter is not only a potential bottleneck, but also a single point of failure. In a publications environment, there is no margin for error when it comes to schedule, and a broken platesetter can bring operations to a halt. Adding a second platesetter is our way of saying we take our deadline commitments seriously.

Thinking of going digital? The benefits can be overwhelming... unfortunately, so can the choices. We are assembling a sampling of test images shot on a variety of digital cameras to aid our customers in choosing a camera that fits both quality and budget constraints. Our first group of images was shot on a Nikon D100 camera, a "prosumer" model suitable for many print production uses. We aim to collect samples from cameras ranging from consumer models to top end pro equipment.
